The holistic approach to nutrition and wellness means we look at the whole person, how all areas of our life are inter-connected and contribute to the way we feel. Nutrition is the foundation for physical health, which in turn affects our emotional well-being.

1. Holistic Nutrition Counseling,
Blood Type Diets/Testing:
 
No one diet works for everyone.
The concept of bio-individuality is that each person has their own nutritional needs.  We look at age, health, activity level, blood type, ethnicity, metabolic rate and personal preferences to determine dietary needs.

Holistic Nutrition depicts a balanced approach to nutrition which affects all areas of life stressing high quality foods and is surrounded with the primary food circle, the parts of life that satisfy our hunger for living and create a balanced life. All nutritional dietary theories are integrated as well, for a completely personalized plan for health.
 
2. Reiki: 
 
Reiki (pronounced ray-kee) is an ancient healing art brought to the modern world by Japanese practitioners in the early 20th Century. I practice Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki, the Western form of Reiki. 
 
Reiki energy sessions help calm the nervous system, relax the body and mind, balance the emotions and accelerate the healing process (physically, mentally, and spiritually). Many nurses and hospitals have recently been offering Reiki to their patients to help with anxiety and to promote faster healing. The technique is non-invasive and the client wears comfortable clothing throughout. Soothing music, organic therapeutic grade essential oils, and beautiful crystals may be employed for deeper relaxation and movement of energy.
 
3. ThetaHealing™:
 
Within the modality of ThetaHealing™, beliefs, patterns and blocks that no longer serve one's higher purpose are quickly identified and changed on both a subconscious and cellular level.  This technique, developed by Vianna Stibal and originally called the Orion Technique, involves belief work while in the meditative 'theta' brain wave state.
 
Re-writing and re-programming of feelings and beliefs creates changes that are felt immediately by clients. Further confirmation and testing is done with kinesiology.
 
Our mind is a portal, and our lives are manifestations of our beliefs.  Imagine your life and live to your highest potential.
 
4. Meditation:
 
Meditation instruction is offered to provide guidance in relaxation and breathing tchniques.  Meditation promotes stress reduction, enhances wellness programs and is well documented in the medical literature to lower blood pressure, ease asthma, relieve insomnia, boost the immune system and benefit all areas of daily life.
Practiced for thousands of years and great for everyone! 
 
 
Pure essential oils, also called plant essences, are the concentrated extracts of plants, herbs and flowers.  The life forces and oils are extracted by steam distillation from leaves, stems, peel, fruits and blossoms. These are life enhancing gifts from Mother Earth, revered for centuries for the restorative properties they have on the body, mind and spirit. Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils and flower essences may be used  during sessions for deeper relaxation to enhance the healing process.
